Attend Miami-Dade County's Budget Hearings for the FY26-27 Proposed Budget

Everything comes down to the budget. Miami Emerging Arts Leaders are invited to attend Miami-Dade County’s two public hearings for the FY 2026–2027 Proposed Budget.

The public hearings will begin at 5:01 p.m. at the Miami-Dade Commission Chamber, located on the second floor of the Stephen P. Clark Government Center, 111 NW First Street, Miami, Florida, 33128.  A live webcast will also be available at miamidade.gov/webcasting.

In real time, attendees will learn how the community and elected officials collaborate on the budget; how funding priorities are determined and its impact on County programs, services, and the arts and culture sector.

Whether you’re new to local government or simply interested in learning more, we encourage Miami Emerging Arts Leaders to observe local government in action.

The Miami Emerging Arts Leaders is a program of the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs, with support from the Arts and Business Council of Miami and the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau. The Miami Emerging Arts Leaders is an initiative of the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs to identify and cultivate the next generation of arts leaders in our community. Since 2004, the Miami Emerging Arts Leaders have provided networking and resource sharing opportunities to encourage diverse, emerging arts administrators to explore professional development issues and opportunities.
